- At the west end of the Aviara Golf Course lies the Argyle Restaurant, which is a favorite to many of the locals. While dining, you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Batiquitos Lagoon, which flows into the Pacific
- Custom homes line both sides of the gated Aviara Drive, many of which are in excess of 4,000 and 5,000 square feet, with many decorated to be on the cover of Dream Homes Magazine.
- Award winning Aviara Oaks Elementary and Middle School, which hosts grades K through 5, and 6 through 8, respectively. Both schools are known for having outstanding teachers and parent groups who are very much involved with the school faculties.
- Carlsbad Outlet
Mall is just a mile away, and boasts over 110 stores and restaurants,
and is a favorite shopping area for those North County residents
looking for quality merchandise at a discount price.
- The World Famous Carlsbad Flower Fields are also nearby, a favorite location for those who love vibrant colors and that arboretum feel. Grown and maintained every year by our local Armstrong Nursery, the U.S. Flower flag is one of the main attractions you’ll see at this local site.
- Did we mention Lego Land? Our very own amusement park is located next door to the Flower Fields, and is visited by people from around the globe each year.
- The modern Carlsbad Dove Library is at the south end of the Aviara Community, and is a favorite to young and old.
- Looking for groceries, restaurants, movie theatres, coffee shops and more? Aviara has two excellent locations. The Ralph’s shopping location is at the north end of Aviara, at the intersection of Poinsettia and Avenida Encinas. And just a few minutes in the southern direction is the Von’s location which boasts even more shops and an Ultrastar 6 Movie Theatre.
- Just minutes to the north is the new Carlsbad Community Golf Course, scheduled for opening in the summer of 2007
- After you’ve enjoyed golf or tennis at the Four Seasons Resort, you may want to try your fancy at the world famous La Costa Resort, just a few miles away. La Costa is home to the annual PGA Match Play Championship, as well as the Women’s Professional Tennis Tournament, known as the Acura Classic.
- The new Aviara Park is quite the attraction itself, and is home to 2 baseball/softball fields, two basketball courts, a playplace and picnic area, and don’t forget the full size soccer field which is laid in Astroturf. And the panoramic views of the rolling hills (as seen from the park) are spectacular.
Aviara, like La Costa, is a world class community which gives you the feeling that you are living in a resort area, yet also has the feel of a community that is a wonderful place to raise a family. While visiting Carlsbad, Aviara is a “must see!”
